Tayo na sa Antipolo

At doon maligo tayo

Sa batis na kung tawagin ay

Hi-hi-hinuluganag taktak!

 

Time really flies! It is already May; lot of things has changed and will change as the time goes by. But still I’m glad that I have my Friends (Joan, Samantha, teacher Dawn, teacher Celine, Mariel, triad jr., and all my friends!) and God.

 

Anyway that’s not my topic!

 

During May, a lot of people visit the Antipolo Cathedral because the Virgin Mary is there and May 1 is SUMAKAH festival. At the same time, a lot of people take the chance to sell things, like pamaypay, kasoy, suman and some drinks.

 

My Grandma and cousins also sell, they sell ice-buko, ice-tubig and fish cracker. The Ice-buko was very saleable, because the weather is hot; people buy things that can make them feel cool. Since my cousin Aeron was the one who man the store, his customers were gay! (bading pare!)

Team building

May 9 and 10, me my brother and my cousin joined the Rizal team building. It was an activity/seminar about teamwork and unity. It was held in Mt. Hermon in Teresa.. All our personal hygiene was confiscated and even our cellphones, wallet and food.  Meaning to say we were not allowed to take a bath and even wet our face or feet.

 

There was a challenge that I cried, because I need to eat a raw apalaya. I don’t want to eat but still I have too because my group mates are waiting. Can you imagine 16 people sharing 2.5 liters of water for a day and we do nothing but play.

 

The challenges were hard; you really need to work together and your patience must be controlled. Strategy was also needed. There was a deal, no lunch and water but if your team drinks a bottle of beer you will lunch! Our team chose to suffer; we did that because we love God. We don’t want him to get mad because of that. That deal was a challenge, because we passed the challenge, we were able to eat lunch but still our lunch was still a challenge. You need to feed the person on our left with you bare hands. Lucky me, the person on my right was a girl but my person on my left was a guy! (He was so unlucky coz I don’t how to eat with bare hands!

I met a lot of new friends, and I know all ready who the real Blessing is and because of that over night, God Proved that he really loves me even I’m like this.
